Subaru BRZ First Impressions Subaru, Subaru Impreza, Upgrades
July 6, 2012 by litchfield

Last week saw the first brand new Subaru BRZ coupe roll into our workshop and gave us the opportunity to have a look at some of the key features.

After reading some of the recent reviews we were keen to check it out for ourselves and it’s fair to say that we all rather liked it, it has certainly made us more excited about our own demo BRZ which has now arrived!
The intentions of the car is clear, Subaru have gone down the route of making a fun car which will put a smile on your face, the key focus is handling over raw power. The 2.0L N/A engine produces around 200bhp but it was obvious after our test drive that it could easily handle more. This is made even more obvious by the amount of space around the engine in the engine bay in which various extras could easily fit!
We have big plans for our own car when it arrives and progress has already been made. Our ECU partners ECUTEK have cracked the ECU and we already have their new software which means that we will be able to start tuning the car straight away.
We were expecting the chassis to be good after so many positive reviews and it did not disappoint!
We’ll keep the blog updated with more information soon.
