Japfest and Scooby Shootout shows  

Litchfield Imports had a stand at both shows and the cars on display proved a huge hit.  

Japfest once again took place at the famous Castle Coombe race track with over 10,000 Japanese car fans enjoying the track action, club and trade stands. The track sessions saw some eventful moments. A NSX had a nasty meeting with a barrier, a Time Attack car blew its engine and caught fire and drift car also ended its day in flames. Thankfully no-one was hurt. Our Track time allowed us to test some of the new developments on our GP Edition demonstrator and was great fun.  

It was also the first time many customers had a chance to view the Japanese Legacy GT Turbo. It proved very popular, so much so our stunning Legacy Spec B WR Limited sold on the day.

New Spec C GP Edition Celebrates success 

Work has begun on our new 2007 GP Edition Spec C. It is designed to celebrate our race success throughout 2006 and this year also sees Litchfield importing cars for 10 years. To mark this significant milestone the new GP Edition will feature heavily discounted parts to produce the ultimate driver focused Impreza. 

Taking its lead from the concept shown in Subaru’s impressive Type RA-R special edition (now sold out) the new GP edition will feature a large number of specialist performance extras from STI mated to our own parts forged in competition success. 

To highlight the fact that we can offer both MY07 and older MY06 Spec Cs direct from Japan we will be offering the GP package on both, significantly broadening the price range.

MY06 Type 25 update

November saw us attend the huge SEMA aftermarket car show in Las Vegas were we got to meet a number of long standing suppliers and discuss plans for 2006. The show was simply incredible with some amazing show cars and new developments on display.
